From this site, pickleball players are able to view USA Pickleball approved paddles and balls. Manufacturers are able to submit paddles and balls for testing and certification by the USA Pickleball.

NTS, USA Pickleball’s official, independent lab partner works directly with USA Pickleball’s Equipment Evaluation Committee (EEC), which is led by USA Pickleball Managing Director of Equipment Standards. The EEC consists of two individuals with engineering backgrounds and diverse experience in sports along with USA Pickleball’s Managing Director of Equipment Compliance. The EEC evaluates manufacturers’ prototypes and new product introductions, which may use new shapes, configurations, or surface treatments. The compliance program ensures that once equipment enters the marketplace, it is still manufactured to the strict specifications needed to ensure a level playing field for both players and manufacturers.

2021 Equipment Standards Manual

The USA Pickleball Equipment Standards Manual contains equipment rules, specifications, and testing details that had previously been contained within the USA Pickleball Official Rulebook. This new document was created in an effort to make the USA Pickleball Official Rulebook more user-friendly while providing a stand-alone document that addresses specific details that pertain to the manufacturing of pickleball equipment.

The content contained within both the USA Pickleball Official Rulebook and the Equipment Standards Manual is considered to be the official rules of USA Pickleball.
